Being as Word Soup seems to be back on 54s and everyone bar those who "fucking hate[d] it" breathes a sigh of relief, I thought I'd declare my 2064 at the Hen and Chickens in Islington. Plus an OXIDISATION and EXULTATION of late. How I love this game.

good effort, anything above 2000 is quite an achievement.
what do you sign as? GGDR? or something else?
you should let Ernest know your scores for his website

Some of my scores are on his website. And I have a (disturbingly accurate) profile. GGDR is the normal sign-off.

CHILLINGLY has 10 with only 2 under 3.
I've played WU/WS about three times since summer hols ended - best score has been a 2003, will update EWQ when there's a few more worthwhile things to report.
Pleased to see the lifting of the 16+ letter word ban... that should play right into my hands seeing as I've scored a total of 0 15+ letter words in my WU career...

I played Word Cube yesterday for the first time on what appeared to be a test site. Got a quid for a shameful 3800.

It was labeled NEW so an Itbox release is presumably on the cards.

is the cube ostensibly the same as the old paragon WC? if so it might be worth a look.

in other news, and bigging up sue denim, she was pleased with THUNDERSTORMS yesterday, also VILLAINOUSNESS but that is an ugly suffix. both at the salutation in ravenscourt park if anyone wants to make a pilgrimage. she spanked HB but TIOLI/CQ are still ripe.

I've never played it on any other machines

I played it again today on't itbox - quite good fun and a bit more to it than just filthing Boggle-style.

5400 was my best today (Bank) which included a couple of cube clearances.
