Spot the difference ultimate

Post by kidgloves »

This new version seems a lot tighter on the face of it. The new way it climbs to the prizes seems to make you play more levels than its predecessor and the cash prizes on offer game per game are far less frequent.
In some ways it's refreshing to see some new pictures to crack but what was a gift on deluxe for a few prizes around the £1-£3 mark is now a trial on ultimate.

Finally a new spot the difference game, lets hope this one isn't as fixed as the deluxe version!

I will keep a look out for this one. I am short of money at the moment so have started playing deluxe again. Nice to see quite a few paragon extreme cabinets around now, they seem to be slightly less wider than the paragon 3i's, and so easier on the eyes!!!

Does anyone know what (if any) are the changes in the ultimate version? will be nice to see some new pictures at long last, but i hope they have kept the multi-coloured horse and the wasps!!!

Apparently if you screw your eyes up and concentrate the differences will become obvious...

One is grey and one is slightly less grey.

I might have to use a help now.

Played a few of these now, much tougher, not sure this will appeal much to the ordinary punters, though if they're still playing the awful std2 then who knows.

I can no longer input my usual pseudonym, just comes up as 'Anon' now, seems rather petty from the developers.

Played this for the first time yesterday. I really am having trouble getting my head around this one.

When getting to level 10 onwards, i don't like the fact that the £ symbols do not have to shift into the award area, meaning that you can end up playing many levels for no reward. The time gets insanely fast and the differences are even smaller than in the deluxe version.

After 10 plays on this yesterday i was still completely even, but was never offered a cash prize other than £1!! Seems a bit pointless to me!!

The differences are extremely subtle when you get to level 10, they seem to merge into the background, making them incredibly difficult to see.

Its nice to finally see some new pictures (and some very old ones as well!!), but thats about all that is going for this game in my opinion.

Maybe im wrong and there is profit to be had here. I need to test some more machines before making a definite decision on this. But so far, after a four year wait, this is looking to be a very dull and tedious game indeed. Lets hope im wrong!!!..............

i think that's a bit niggardly, i am not interested in this game either but we had three or four guys on before who can do the crossing trick. i hope they have a more sensible message.
nobody ever wins on those things.
