if tv can get away with this...

in the spirit of scientific research and following from that other thread, i stayed up last night to watch quiz call and this was the puzzle.

let's hope this is not the shape of spoilers to come. ((would the software be sophisticated enough to choose which "right" answers it wants?) does the pope wear a big hat?)

i managed to find 19 "wrong" answers before the six "correct" ones. what are the odds of that :? :

i didn't stay up late enough to see but in about an hour they had taken only eight phone calls and the presenter said (exact words)

"i'm sorry, KAREN/ KATE/ ALICE/ GRACE/ JO/ SOPHIA is not there"

when they manifestly are there

it is the worst kind of swiz.
nobody ever wins on those things.

Yeah, that's true. At least they could say something like "It's there, but it's not one of the ones we're looking for," instead of blatantly lying.

By not there, they mean not one of the prize answers.

If you stayed up all night to discover that Quiz Call is a complete fix you are only about two years behind everyone else :)
