Whenever you lose, you get told "You get nothing but your BFH, your Bus Fare Home". Hurrah, thought I, as I was about 50 miles from home at the time, and the bus would have been at least £10.
Bullseye is best played on a Fatbox if you can find one housing it. In my experience, the cursor moves at half of the speed round the dartboards as it does on ItBoxes and Paragons, making it easier to reach the Prize Board.
Even with the slower cursor though, it still doesn't help in hitting the reds on the Prize Board. It's just disappointment after black after disappointment.
I play the quiz machine at my local pub almost everynight. And almost everynight I end up putting about £5 in, simply because I know Bullseye will give me more. It usually takes me about £2 to make bullseye give me a £3 on the prize board, then obviously like any sane person i'll boost it up by another quid with that easy gamble at the end, 2 easy bullseyes and a dart anywhere on the board.
As for getting the star prize over £1, it seems to happen randomly, the most it's ever gave me was £3 on the prize board and £5 star prize when I hit 3 triple 20's on the gamble board, but it cost me way to much to actually keep getting that far and trying for the 3 triples, i'll just stick to my usual £4 thank you very much.
