WS is/was obviously great; anyone who values words over numbers gets this. (and probably knows why the semicolon is there).
dozy Dorises may get their silly fix by playing QI for 63 but they might be astonished that BARQUENTINE is actually a word.
file this under Idiots.
QI is much easier.
HMM.
nobody ever wins on those things.

Barquentines was the high scoring word on W/S in Newmarket Spoons couple of years back. I was impressed!

Is there any point to this thread? Or is it just another 'Look at me! I've swallowed a dictionary' missive.

Just because I have a good vocabulary doesn't mean I have to frequent the nation's hostelries proving it for a £1

It's refreshing to see vocabulary acknowledged. If we all went to war with words instead of guns the world would be a much nicer place.
And rather overpopulated. Kill Kill Kill!

The Government would find a way to depopulate if the world was like that. What's that black helicopter spraying in the fields!

Wasn't Denzel Washington in 'Verbosity'?. Russell Crowe certainly killed the English Language in that one. Fucking awful film.
