not before time they have introduced some new categories. this has always been a good game but it has been stagnant for months. i am now looking forward to playing this for the challenge. hopefully PMP will have some new categories as well soon.

The new categories are a bit harder and seem to come earlier on in the game. Latin Hymns, Butterflies, Insects, Racehorse Trainers, Racehorse Names and Racing Drivers are just a few.

Played 2 £1 games of this today for the first time. First one gave me an awful choice of subjects - i took a chance with ' Astronomers Royal ' because i wanted to go along the bottom of the trail , but it wiped me out. Second game had £2 , £4 and £6 at the 4th , 6th and 8th positions which is pretty much throwing it out. I had ' free letters ' which i saved until the £6 square but it had disappeared , i saw that happen before on the original Hex but not on Maniac until now. Fortunately the subject was hobbies and choosing the i , n , g gave it to me as ' Gardening ' but strange that it cheated on an easy set-up and with easy answers to that point too.
