Always thought this was a bit of an acquired taste, but knew a couple of lads who specialised in it. They'll be blubbing this morning then I guess.

Some sort of cheat or just people who had got really good at it and knew all the answers?

I was never really a fan. If it gave you a hard category it was just too difficult to get past.

I prefer the new Find Five thingy. I seem to be able to win the odd quid from that :)

Is this based on what you've seen (or not seen) on machines in a particular area, or something more official? As discussed elsewhere, it doesn't take much to knock a game off any given Paragon these days...

Based on what I've seen oop north. It's not something more official sadly.
My gut feeling is that Never Mind The Buzzcocks is on the way out too...
