A quiz machine thread that doesnt involve moaning

Post by kingzilla »

How refreshing for you all, a brand new thread that doesn't involve moaning. I just read the comments about Word Wobble and it makes me laugh about all the negative responses to this game. I thought that quiz games to the larger majority of players was a bit of fun and the fact that you can maybe win prizes is a bonus. Come on guys be happy for a change its nearly Christmas.

Indeed, it's Christmas - hence, there are more important things to do than sweep up a few easy quid.

Go home to your families. 8)

Before anyone picks up on it, word wobble is not a quiz game and not as i said a quiz game (my bad). Its not just this game though it seems to be every game lately gets gets harsh comments. Nice to see some cheery replies so far though :P

didn't get to play at lunch, some joker was playing triple towers.
the new cluedo game on indego is exceptional. i gave that a glowing review, credit where it is due. overall i think the developers, designers, question compilers and distributors do a very good job.

After the few months at work I've just had I'm just glad to have a bit of time again to play SWPs. That said, there's not much that catches my eye at the moment, on any of the cabinets - I've been out of the game a little while but was really struggling to make a decent profit when out playing last week. That said, there was still money about and I guess one can't judge every era by some of the high spots of the last eighteen months or so.

In keeping with this thread, I'd like to wish all of Fruitchat a very enjoyable, and profitable, Christmas / New Year period - I nearly always manage to find a full day's SWPing over the festive period and I'm confident I'll be able to do that this year - looking forward to it already, but not as much as the company of loved ones / food and drink / festive cheer!

And the same from me to all of you.

QM, did you realise by the way that you now pop up as a random wrong answer on one of the newer games? I can't remember which one but I do remember it's not an obvious reference like the ones on Every Loser Wins (Q. Where would you find these names? A. At a 'saddoes convention'), or the one to me on (I think) The X Factor as something like 'a quizzer of average ability', which made me feel all warm inside. :D

It might be a reference to the game Quizmaster, from which I take my name. (It was the first SWP I ever played).

The Vidmar one from Deals on Wheels is classic. Shame they couldn't spell Pseudonym.

Happy Xmas to you all! Had a great day, buying presents is so much easier when each shopping trip is accompanied by a couple of pub visits. Credit crunch doesn't feel so bad with those extra pound coins in your pocket. 8)

Bump.

I can't really recall why I stopped visiting this site, possibly due to my graduation and subsequent full-time job, I just wasn't playing as much.

Needless to say I'm loving the screengrab above!
