A bit late but here's the current top 10 after having the new menu installed for the last 2 weeks.
Remember all my meters were re-set because I had to exchange the base unit 2 weeks ago - so this is from a virgin machine sited 2 weeks ago.
1. Admiral Of The Fleet - far and away the most played game (its a battleships variant) - its had over 400 plays in 2 weeks!
2. 1 vs 100
3. John Parrots Sport Quiz
4. DOND Big Reds
5. Pop The Question (new music based quiz)
6. New Crystal Maze
7. Battle Of Britain 2
8. Spot Diff Ultimate
9. Pub Quiz
10. Eliminator
So 4 of the new games are in the top 10 - any thoughts.
Dave
BTW Its showing a 32% payout.

pop the question is an excellent pun. surprised that has not been used on something more high-profile.
i can see the appeal of admiral of the fleet and £200 into your box for one title is good going for a fortnight.
1vs100 is the only one of those games which i play personally (and a bit of eliminator for variation) but one man's meat is another man's poison.
must say i'm a bit surprised that hex maniac isn't in your top ten. from my observations that gets one helluva lot of throughput.
keep up the good work Dave.

Have you ever considered getting a terminal with decent games on it? Kudos or Paragon for example? You wouldn't find Battle Of Britain 2, John Parrots Abomination, or DOND Big Reds in the top ten - namely cos they are shite!
In fact, i would bet that if you put a paragon or Kudos in your pub, your take would increase by about £20 a week....

Right so lets analyse this...........
You reckon my take would increase by £20 a week - a new machine would cost approx £3000 - (I own the OPEN - all paid for...) - is it worth it?
Apart from the fact I disagree about your guesstimate...............the OPEN is well used..................it shows approx 50 or 60 available games with the new menu system.
I am happy with it.
Why should I be bothered what games appear in the top 10 as long as the machine makes money?

If you own the machine, then you have already won the argument.
However, i stand by my believe that Open currently have the worst (albeit largest) selection of bad games to be found on any box.
Games Warehouse used to have an enormity of bad games on their box - most of which have thankfully disappeared. Open have since taken that moniker and ran away with it....

It definately has...........it seems to have updated itself on 1st Dec.
BUT No Rocket Money / Fantasy Football / Total Film Quiz - 3 of my most played games on the last machine.
Interestingly there is a disable games option on the operator menu - but even if I disable 5 (the maximum allowed) of the crap games they still appear on the menu !!
But it is a better menu - approx 50 games you can pick from and you dont have to put credits in now to browse how to play etc.............you can do it from attract mode.
