i never play this game because it is the death of the soul. but there is a scruffy chap near me who loves it. i play SWP quite a lot and see this bloke every so often. this evening i went for a pint in one of my favourite pubs and he was on the machine playing DOND.
after three pints i had done the times crossword, T2 crossword and the viz bumper craptic crossword (except 1across/4down) and he was still playing that miserable game and still nursing his first pint.

all the time he was muttering about "fucking edmonds" and tutting more loudly than anyone should.

I suppose it depends on whether the context of that 'fucking' was derogatory, or desirable! Heh!

As for the previous comment, for me, anything 30,000+ is usually a non-winning situ. As also said, the 250,000 tends to go a bit too early most of the time... There are far better games currently...
