Rupert Murdoch - encouraging gambling at work

Post by Cardinal Sin »

SkyVegas have a link at the top right of their screen called "Look Busy"

http://www.skyvegas.com/cms/vegas_boss.shtm

Apart from the fact that any boss worth his chlorides would question exactly what this "spreadsheet" means, do other betting sites do this as well?

Looking busy

Post by davidpom »

They shouldn't have to look busy, they should BE busy.

Gambling at work is a definite no-no in my book. You're being stolen from (by the online casinos) and also stealing time off your employer. If people gambling at work get sacked, they bring it upon themselves. I've yet to see an employment contract where it says its ok to gamble at work.
