I've gone a few weeks without touching one of these daft machines now, thats not bad for me. Used to be hooked big style, did some proper candy on these, Left myself fucked week after week,.

yep trying to stop playing these too, reckon done about 10k in the 10 months I have been playing them, which sounds terrible, but probably light compared to some other stories I have heard and seen. No worse feeling than doing your months wages in 20 minutes. Of course a few £1k plus wins in your head forgots those bad days. Just a good job I am not on my fully qualified wages yet, as would have done probably 3 times that. Its strange you look at people playing them and no one seems to enjoy playing them, people look stressed, skaking, sweating on where that number is going to land. Even see some people who cant even look at the screen. Wish I just stayed playing fruities bad day on them yoused to mean I might not be out on the drink tonight, bad day on the roulettes means you are doing nothing that month.

A friend told me a story about roulette a while back, he had a £1000 cash in his flat that faces a row of shops with a bookies, he took £10 out with him to get some bacon from the co-op, he decided to just nip in the bookies and try the roulette hoping to win a few quid from the £10 he had on him, he done the £10 so went home to get some more money and ended up doing the full grand

Yes they really can be devastating. I once lost £?00 just messing about trying to ascertain if they were rigged. As they seemed to usually land on the same number on £1 stakes if bet at the 'exact' same time, then land on different numbers (both losing) on nearly all simultaneous £20 bets, i concluded that something was afoot and have played nowt but the odd L8 since. Strangely enough I then put £10 in a Gold Rush, gambled out (aggresively) the nugget things and won £45? was it? is it? Hmmmm wasn't it? The Gold Rush had replaced a p1 Wizzigig(*) (which is why I was in there) back in Marchypoops of last year. I thought I could have squeaked away with £35 profit, not bonged out with a half K mauling. Even back to back £105 tops couldn't have saved me. An accidental total hopper dump wouldn't have saved me.

My defence is that the child should not have been in the bookmakers, but the prosecution is arguing that I was being negligent, smashing open the terminals for money and disregarding the welfare of others. The child's mother is asking for compensation of £600,000, about the amount I made from the FOBTs with my sledgehammer. So by the time I've paid legal costs, if I lose this case, I'll be in dire need of a couple of emptiers.
So my advice is, don't play these. If you do get the urge then fiddle about with a fake twenty, fishing/prop wire, cards, magnets, blockers, rf jammers, whizzpoppers, slacksliders, jizzspunkers, pulse emitters, drill clockers, strim busters, whizziwhirlers and Wonka Fabmeltulousfobtemptyinggobthumpers. That or just keep kicking it till it gives you credit.
