Roulette 'systems'

Sorry if it sounds patronising, i dont mean it to be -
I dont understand all the talk of systems for roulette that are discussed on here.
At the end of the day, there's 37 numbers on a wheel and you're paid 36/1 your money for a number bet.
For a column you're paid 3/1 for a 37/12 bet.
For a red / black bet you're paid even money for a 37/18 bet (not counting half stake back for zero).
I cant see any way of 'beating' the wheel with a method, unless the wheel is biased in some way.

Correct you cannot beat the wheel unless you cheat basically,
As all results are unrelated to previous spins, the outcome can never be calculated in a system.
The best odds on roulette seem to be at betfair where they have a wheel with No 'zero' (i don't know if anyone else does) so at least on that it is a even money shot.
Whatever you do don't play American Roulette as that has 2 zeros so the odds are even worse.

I'll have Rosskeens "column" system please!
And you're right, you can't have a 100% reliable winning system
********PERSONAL OPINION DO NOT FLAME ME I DO NOT WANT TO ARGUE MY OPINION!!!!!!!! ***************but fobts however, just like wheels, are "bent" and seem to have flaws/trends in their programming.

They're definitely bent - have a read of my blog entry:

Make your own mind up, but I personally avoid the bookies roulette games these days. I do however enjoy online casinos with reputable reputations and good games - i.e.
