What's the most you have won on one hand of blackjack? The most ive won is £25. What sorts of bets do people do?

£100 is the most ive staked in one box at my local casino.

I was losing all night and I realised that there would be 3 hands left and was down £250. anyway i put £40 down and got two 7s so split them. Then I got I think a 3 and 4 on each of those. so thats £40 each hand and then extra £40 on each for the double. I was lucky to win. Long time ago but I think the dealer got crap cards and went bust.

I had to go the cash machine and get more money to pay for the doubles. Glad it won as i'd have been gutted

This thread made me feel quite light headed. I used to normally play £10 a box/hand but if doing well and getting progressively more bevied into the early hours, I would sometimes end up upping the stakes to a ton and then watching with horror as the cards necessitated a double or a split. Think I once ended up with £300 on there which was brown trousers time but never got seriously stung.

My best hand was around 300GBP. I bet anywhere from 5GBP to 100GBP per hand on average, but exceed that figure when the deck count is in my favour and I feel there's a good chance of a win. That said I was barred from all UK land-based casinos last year for "suspected counting" so now have to play online, or at other casinos in the world. :-(
