If you are betting 35 out of 37 numbers you are getting odds of 1/35 for your cash against the true odds 2/35, very poor value. I have bet 35 out of 37 for 20p stakes to see how long it would win. I managed 42 spins before losing. This is above average. The other system is to bet £1 on red and £1 on black and see how long it is before zero comes in. Roulette does your head in because of "That can't be red" again syndrome always kick you when you are down. The seven nominated colours bet should come in about every 155 spins, or in a session of 100 bets you have about a 48% chance of a result. Good luck.

If ther were ever a reason that i'd tell people not to bother with roulette it's this. Time and time again i'll say it or quote it, and yet time and time again people will come on here with their hard luck stories.

It's all one to me whether people persevere with roulette or not, but for god's sake just realise that out of all of the games available in a Casino, this is one that you cannot defeat.

The wheel that was observed is an American one (double zero), so the results probably wouldn't illustrate my point as effectively as if it were a single zero wheel. Plus the fact that after typing 380 of the 3800 numbers into the computer, I couldn't be arsed with it any more, so i'm afraid I won't be posting them.

Ok tonight I am heading to casino, again with £100. I will be trying the doubling up system for the first £60 or so ,then if no luck will do what I done last time and back small areas of wheel with big stakes and hopefully hit lucky again. I will post on here tomorrow my fortunes as I am not sure what time I will get home, the last time was about half 3 in morning, and I am pretty sure I won't be arsed typing at that time in morning even if I won big. I would like to take photos of results on the tables and upload on here but if I get caught I will probably get booted out so not worth the risk. :)

Hi all ok I left with a £40 profit not quite what I was looking for but a win all the same, it was after 2oclock and I couldn't be arsed anymore. I tried me theory on the first £40 due to the fact the wheel wasn't spinning very quick last night and the original £40 lasted me about 2 and a half hours. I ended up losing 3 £32s but never got to £64. I did see this happen on another 2 tables out of the 4 in play both with runs of 10 colours just chose the wrong table. I saw one good run on the table I was playing a run of 8 in the third dozen which I am sure if you put a pound ond on and kept putting your winnings back on would return a nice amount if you had the bottle.
