I have seen numerous posts where people say runs of 12+ highs or colours etc pop up in a row. I quite often visit the casino, and this does happen alot there, most Ive noticed before in a row was 16 reds.
So 1 possible strategy is to start with a bank of £100 and back the last colour out for £1 if this comes out double up on same colour and so on till you are happy with your win, or you lose your bottle. For example red comes out back £1 next spin then £ 2 4 8 16 32 64 I prefer to stop at £128 and start again. This will only take 7 winning bets or 8 colours in a row. You have 100 chances at this the most Ive seen off initial £100 is 4 runs £412 clear profit. One last thing if you are backing red and a black comes out then back black from the start, this takes out the being pissed off factor that you backed red and a run of blacks came out.
I was just at casino last night I tried this for about £60 but never got the big runs I was looking for I lost plenty of £32s though which if I had of banked I would of been well up maybe just a bit to greedy. Anyhow night finished well got some fantastic luck and left £500 up off my initial £100 at 1 point was down to my last £20. Good luck to anyone who trys this and keep me posted if this works for you. It is entirely up to you if you try this on fobts but I have never tried this as I don't think they are true to what they say they are. 8)

The three casino's I occasionally visit all have a minimum £5 bet on even money gambles too..

There was a £1 minimum table on WillHill, but thats long gone. Never seen another.

The casino I go to have machines that are linked to the tables, which I am sure most have. Now some of these machines are £2.50 min for outside bets so to get round this I will put say £2.50 on black and £3.50 on red, red wins then I will put £4.50 on red and £2.50 on black red wins again then you can just put £4 on red. If 0 comes out you will still get half your stake back so if its not on the first 2 spins you will still be slightly in profit. I would then put the half stake I recieved back onto the colour I was backing before 0. I forgot to mention this as only recently the casino I visit has just upped the stakes on these machines they used to be £1 outside bets on the machines. Hope this clears things up. :)

Martingale
The Martingale is one of the most extremal and reckless systems. Every beginner invents the same system and gets excited about future gains. It is hard to determine who was the first inventor of Martingale, but surely the term "Martintage" indicating the progressive rising bet system was introduced by mathematician P.Levy at the beginning of the XX century. He was analyzing the paradoxes of gamble games. Another mathematician, Doob also worked with this subject and expanded the Levy's results.

Let's see the most famous variation of Martingale. It is doubling of a wager after every loss in even money game. In case of a win, the serie starts from initial bet. For example, initial bet is one chip. Every serie wins is exactly one chip.

A real game always has the limit of max bet size, it is the restriction of casino or size of player's bankroll (Bill Gates has money only for 24 rounds!).

I hear you Harry, but the proposal from Kendo isn't quite Martingale. Kendo proposes that if you lose, you revert back to £1, not as the Martingale system states, that being if you lose, you double your stake. It is only if you win your bet that you then double it using Kendo's method.

If Kendo gets it wrong 7 times in a row, he loses £7.

A Martingale system punter gets it wrong 7 times and loses £127.

Yep as Stuart said you are never risking high as you only started with your initial £1 even if you get up to £32 and lose, the way to think is hey that only cost me £1. The martingale or whatever its called is frought with danger. Like my original post stated I have seen a run of 16 reds before, you would of been bust probably twice over if thats possible. :?

Im with kendo on this one...

In my experience its better to go with the table not against it.
Ive seen many a run of highs or lows etc.
And like he says you only ever put a risk of £1 at any one time.

I dont really understand how this would work since you also see long runs of black red black red etc?

Its the inverse of 'Martingale', but with the overall 'odds/payout' after infintie spins being exactly the same (in fact EVERY system will have EXACTLY the same payout over an infinite sample size). Under this system, the ONLY time you make money is if you get 7 results in a row, which is less than a 0.0065% chance.

Agreed, every method/system is exactly as "good" as the next one, they all have a long run expected payout of 97.3%, unless you bet on even chances which have a long run expected payout of 98.6%.

Any combination of red/black's that has previously occured has no relvence to the next spin, it doesnt matter whether you follow or go against the wheel, the "ball" doesnt have a memory and does not think to itself... oh I'm on a run of blacks now, I must continue ( or reverse )!!!!

If you want a fair gamble, play betfair zero roullette, the limits are rather restrictive, but the expected payout is 100% as there is no zero.

ithink this a very good idea, small outlay/loss to have a crack at large profit
