B*llocks
Tried a new roulette system friday night. Deposited a tenner at virgin casino and got it up to £40 at one point.
Then whaddya kno, it disappears. So I deposit a bit more. For some reason I then deposited 50 quid to give me a good float, yet I told myself 'that I wouldn't lose all 50'.
Long and short of it is, I've now blown 80 quid. FUCK.

The system does work to an extent but you need balls to carry it through - by the time I had lost 20 quid, I was stupid in that I was scared of losing any more - so each time I got a few quid down I was walking away rather than pressing on with the method. But then going back 2 minutes later and ending up doing the same thing!
UPDATE!
Deposited an extra tenner because I decided to have a gamble just for fun as oppose to fucking about with any systems. I flukily got a good few wins on a slot, so managed to withdraw £20 meaning I'd clawed back a tenner. That left me with £2 in my account to do what I can with....currently up to £3.80!!

That makes no sense to me. If you walk away then come back it makes no difference, as each outcome is independent.rocket wrote:The system does work to an extent but you need balls to carry it through - by the time I had lost 20 quid, I was stupid in that I was scared of losing any more - so each time I got a few quid down I was walking away rather than pressing on with the method. "Sixty percent of the time, it works, every time!"
I mean I might start the system, and get 4 or 5 bets into it and have lost. So I would panic and walk away. But then I'd think 'oh I better try again' - and go back but start the system from scratch. Then have a few losses, panic, walk away etc...Mattb wrote:That makes no sense to me. I think they tend to make up their percentages by throwing out lots of small wins which naturally you just recycle - if you're playing at say £1 a spin, getting lots of wins of 80p or 1.20 doesnt really mean much and naturally you just keep playing. Although I have had them throw out big wins every now and again.
With the roulette, they do do massive streaks of a single colour and evens or 1-18 / 19-36 BUT, I suppose you get these in real casinos, so can you really claim that they are rigged?
The one I find most annoying is Blackjack - I'm convinced it's rigged. It will just throw out a big run of losing hands, beating things such as 20 for you and they will go 10+3+2+6 for 21! I DO think that they are rigged.
£5.85, by the way...

To be honest i rarely play roulette, i sometimes play BJ which can be very annoying, if i bet small i win but as soon as i get greedy i lose!rocket wrote:I think they tend to make up their percentages by throwing out lots of small wins which naturally you just recycle - if you're playing at say £1 a spin, getting lots of wins of 80p or 1.20 doesnt really mean much and naturally you just keep playing. As i said the slots are more my game, they have a great selection on paddypower and my money always lasts me a long time, although i lose more than win
I agree about the blackjack. If I could be arsed I would do a few stats test on it and show how statistically unlikely the results I have had on the are. as you say, even when you get a 20, you often see 'them' getting 10,2,2,1,SIX! if, like me you suspect quite strongly that it is rigged, avoid temptation and just DONT PLAY THE BLACKJACK!! I think the roulette legally HAS to be random?
Whther that is adhered to and whether the other games do or dont have to be 'random' I dont know myself...
