I assume you mean that you like to play loads of poker pete? I drive tons of different cars, but it don't make me a mechanic does it pete? I could be wrong, no doubt about it, but you may also be wrong to. As for courts hating these kind of companies withholding peoples winnings, google it.

I do play a lot of poker, but it's not my job (anymore)
I work in online gaming. I know what I'm talking about.

and it's not up to a reader to find sources for another posters assertions.
If you state a "fact" in a discussion, really, it's your job to back it up.

If you work in online gaming you would have to agree that you will always have a biased view on the situation because it is a conflict of interests is it not? Someone like you is now withholding this guys money without giving a shit whether it is legal or not. I remember banks ripping everyone off with their charges until someone finally had the balls to say enough is enough, and took them to court.

the only reason bigv's money is being withheld is because he tried to take advantage.
If he hadn't, he'd still have full access to his money.

There's no bias or opinion involved.
There are very strict rules laid out for this sort of thing.

I would argue that he simply played a game with very good odds in his favour for once

similar thing happened to me involving coral online where you could carry on exchanging money from pounds to dollers(or something like this) and make a very small amount on it each time, i only put a fiver in the account and got up to £60 odd and then they froze it for about a week then only gave me my £5 back in the end, werent too bothered though at the time and if it was more i might of persued it a bit,

Still haven't heard back it's been 3 days :( Feel a bit better now that the majority have said I'd get my £840 back tho :!:

EDIT: fired open the live chat to see if they could update me:

[Aaron] I can confirm that the investigation is complete, and we will be working on re-activiating accounts today.
[Aaron] Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
[bigv] so my balance should be restored today at some point?
[Aaron] Your account will be restored as it was and we will email you confirming when this is done.

Whether that means the full £1280 or the £840 I'm not sure tho! :?

with all I said, it's not impossible they'll let you have the £1280 as a gesture of good will and take the loss.

They just don't HAVE to legally.

let us know.
