Any of the joker pokers are good for home use. Super swingy and unpredictable poker cycling nonsense.
If it's a fruit then an old Jape such as Sonic or Indiana or maybe Maverick, Big 50 etc as that old style had loads of hidden features.
If it's a deal then I'd get a Powerplay or Decade or Hall of Fame.
Buy old Crests for nostalgia and themes and force for JP and streak memories.
Old Bfm for sheer quirkiness and sometimes odd profiles.
If you go Red Gaming, sub zero is a bit of a challenge.
Simple clubber go for Blackjack. Cyclic blockdom any Maygay after Instant Millionaire (that would gamble out).
Bullion run was a good one by thingymbybob.
B3 go for an Astra Mk4 with reel king, rumple, 4king and jack or hot slot or rainbow king.
500 Martians on 1.7 or earlier for a steep blast
Jackpot King.
On £10 go Crazy Fruits red for Sfx.
On £5 duff beer guide
If you like streaks, spotted dick
For skills, Arcadia
Jape vogue cab is best all round
Screenplay for retro m1a Madness sampled excellence

I'd love a dial with all program versions on different/switchable EPROMS. Problem is pretty much any game quickly becomes boring when the gamble element is removed. Sure I'd love to blast a p1 win stopper (for the newbies aka as winstoppers or Dond What's in your box?) for old time's sake.
If you're looking for lo tech granny fayre, Pure Madness is the best tic tac toe multistake £70 JP you could get in my opinion.

The Donkey Kong I remember was '95/'96. You had to hi lo to jump the barrel. M1a in Vision cab with tubes and Apollo with hopper.
