i am going to share with you something what i shouldnt, this is what the landlord shared with me.
'' there is a new trick not like the old magnet trick but to do with pound coins, if you chuck £200 in coins in a machine it will give you £140 as loads of coins going in quickly pushes the percentage up even though it cant go above the 74% displayed. sometimes they put a note in then collect £15 in coins and then shove them back through to put the percentage up.They are easy to spot as they never change their coins up afterwards and dont drink their half a coke. i started noticing something was wrong when i had no £1's in the till as they were all in the machines,
but the police have there photo's and they are being passed around so they will be caught. one of them came in here yesterday and put £200 in both machines and took £140 out of each (WHAT A PISS TAKE EH!). this trick can be used by anyone but it unfair on the locals.''

there you have it, enjoy this trick while it lasts
he has stuck paper over notechangers and noone is allowed more than £20 i coins from behind the bar.

Does it fook lol, if we use that logic then by the same token if you win a load but leave it in the bank then the machine will keep paying because the percentage hasnt changed coz it hasnt paid the coins out yet, which everyone knows doesnt work.

10/10 for effort though!

Lol matt, i like it!

Plus, if you rub a brick against a window then it makes the 10p's go over the back giving you £4.15 which rounds down to 1p boxes, thus providing you with a GATW board from only £1.38 in BUT if you manage to key it from the off and tie a key in a knot then the next board will only boost up to start.

i nicked that off dom, aka streakseims as it was his response to some equally inane bullshit drivel a few months ago, and it would be a shame for such a quote to go to waste!

Yep it was a response to good old pies when he moanned that he couldnt get a boost up to superstart on happy campers twice in a row, despite having JP off the first board lol.

Im just following your lead and adding silly responses now matt (jpfuk), as this guys landlord mate obviously cannot be serious, that or he has no knowledge of how a fruity works whatsoever, he'll be telling us the ultimate cheat of the 3rd time hold next!

I bet the Police were well impressed to get that call... I would think they were doing a lot of nodding and smiling on that call/visit... Hope they at least got a free pint for their trouble!

the landlord was serious.
i pointed out that the machine cant pay out if its not had enough money in and he agreed.
he wants his regulars to win from it and needs £1 coins in his till.

... but by not letting his regulars have more than £20 in coins and disabling the note changers the only people who have a chance of winning is a player coz hes the only one with £1's

what a dick
an engineer arrived that he had previously called and was asked to disconnect the note changers ... even the engineer tried to point this out but the landlord always knows best.

Aye, i thought as much, i guess that disconnecting a notey is good as it stops any tooling risks, but if he has many machines, he needs a change machine in there really.

Thats what they did at a wetherspoons where my mate is good mates with one of the lads who works there.

One day when it was quiet my mate took him round and keyed em all to show him that they were all getting done, all machines were 200+ off full all the time, and this was before 70jp came out, and he said to the bar bloke to get the noteys unplugged and get a change machine put in, which is what they did.
