Oldest machine still sited

Post by AMK »

For me it's a fairground by jpm in a pub and a nudge double up deluxe in an arcade.

Did used to have a crystal maze still in a pub but that's gone now replaced for a supernova hehe

No. The fairground is a late night passing £4 jackpot lol.

Still have a sonic the hedgehog on £10 here but it's on 10p play. Plays awful. Often 5-6 for a 2 board!

My local has still got 2 x £25 Jackpoteers, and a mario kart now too. Which is nice.

Old Town Hall, Poulton le Fylde, FY6.

Its a proper old mans pub, one of which turns down IM's on JPeers like a pro.

Perhaps someone can verify whether or not the Who Wants to be a Legionnaire? machine is still sited in the pub at Gatwick South ... if so, it's just passed its eleventh birthday :)
This machine may at times offer a choice where the player has every chance of bankruptcy

£4 all Cash and £8 are finings. I heard that they made a £10 Fairground, maybe that was wrong. It seems a bit wrong. There was a clone(ish) of Fairground, another system 5, what was it now? Around the world in 80 days, forget Mazooma, you needed 80 to get on the board, no balloons here, well maybe a hot air balloon on the top glass. Fortune teller = passport control. Only ever saw those on £6 jackpot, think they were made AFTER Fairground.
Oldest machine? Well Sun Valley in King's Heath did have an ORIGINAL super nudge gambler, might be one in Northampton iirc, used to be in a few of the Shipley's/Cashino/Sun Valley/Agora/Sun Spot whatever they're called now group. It's probably not there, they've gone in for all the new build 'Fair Gaming' machines. Only tried a few quid, usually get some money back for £1.
A pub in a small town not too far from me has a £5 Maverick in a Vogue. Also got one of those wierd MDM Fireball things in a pub on £5.
Sonics? Fairgrounds? Mario Karts? Christ, I thought you had to go to the coast to play on them now, or look for second hand on Ebay. Unless those on pubs near the coast which would seem more likely. Awaiting Pyney to tell me that there is a £4.80 Action Pack in the back of The White Bear.

Trying to remember a machine. Think it was in a project cabinet. 2p play where the cat chased a mouse round the board. Seem to remember the biggest win on the board was a quid. But 2.40 jackpot. This was in the butlins in Wales. Same time had a row of only fools and horses dice version.

They really have taken the A out of AWP now haven't they? :(

That the same as the cops n robbers 2p where you moved across the bottom of the feature as far as you wanted to determine how much you wanted to win, then you had to run for it with the copper/cat chasing you home for your swag on the top board??

Yes I remember that. They had that machine in butlins. The one I'm on about is a bit more lo-tech. There's an ACE one too which was 5p play a racing car one which would give you like £1 when you get to the end lol.

They also had a row of £6 sphinx's.

Not quite in the same league but the Corner Pin next to Spurs' ground has had a Championship Soccer for about 10 years now - it did have a Card Shark on 15 jackpot but they decided to modernise with an upgrade to Bonkers...
