i realise it is idiotic to play these £500 machines but it is a weakness for me.

anyway, i was on one earlier with SWP profits and the mega bars (which i quite like) gave me 40 free spins. the first four reels were all blue.

how much did it give for 40 spins?

26 quid <------- drag over

I've had over 100 free spins thanks to several re-triggers on a £2/go £4000 JP (Mermaids Treasure or something) and won the princely sum of £47.

underwhelmment is usually the order of the day on a b3 feature .

I recall watching a friend in a casino put £350 into a game called Jackpot Party just to see a feature, which duly went for £6. I was stunned, I mean he was playing it at £2 a spin.

He then informed me it could have quite easily given £2, before cheerily threading another note in.

Nauseating.... A far cry from the good old days thats for sure.

I always do better with leprechauns than multiple eyed monsters. Something about Python, £10 is good going. Leps seem to gravitate nearer £20.
That stupid Mega Bars isn't any good on the free spins, Andrew was moaning about it the other day. I believe it's a relatively hard B3 to jackpot.
No bother really if you're just popping in a few quid.
I have to go now, I can hear repetitive dinging sounds at 2nd intervals (ask Kidgloves, he'll know what those are) not one, not two, not three, but four.

I've played Mega bars a few times in the services, i have got lucky a few times with the odd £50 win but never taken anything more than that, i was watchin the regular truckers one day, they got the full screen for 50 free spins and took £40, they were gutted!

I personally don't like the compensated £500's like Mega bars, cash ahoy, chip n spin etc.. etc.. I always find the '£100% randoms' pay more often.

Those project mega bars etc. do seem to pay alot of £30-50 wins, I hear it all the time, when Im in arcades that silly celebration music, you know what I mean lol.....

Seen 30+ spins go for £200+ a few times, 20ish spins go for a ton, does do semi decent wins...

As for the jackpot though never seen it, or heard about it, indeed spoke to that arcade woman in mimms one day (she sits there handing out prize draw tickets), and she said it's never payed the jp, and it's been there for months on end.

I presume they were major 2nds not minor 2nds - harsh on the old ear those minor ones.

If its the same as on the Ladbrokes boxes the feature often goes for £1. (£1/spin)

Thats because the feature is random. The boxes on Jackpot Party don't cheat. If you pick the POOPER first, thats what you get. You could of course avoid the POOPER's for quite some time, thereby getting quite a high win. Its all done on a mathematical average. Its easy to work out what the average win will be ...

Really.........

I was under the impression that the machine had already decided what it was going to pay, and displayed that amount accordingly.

Oh well, you live and learn. :?

specifically jackpot party? or are you saying this is the norm?

i've always been comforted with thinking it was pre-determined when ive chosen the lowest lol.

now can i reminisce about all those times knowing that i truely did suck right out and was'nt actually force fed ?
