Don't show ur mates FUCK all.

A mate of mine that used to gamble and who now has the odd pop has started going on a Hi Low silver near me on a weekend when he's not working. And I'm off on my route so twice he's done it on a Saturday before I got back.

Worst thing is he did it twice from feature. I said please don't play it and he says machines aren't "mine".

I said I appreciate that and if he's playing for a quick win then fine but he just forces stuff as it's "something to do" and he doesn't need the money.

So I lose out on 2 counts:

a) I lose the money I could have won
b) it's now not ready for even longer because he will force it through even if dead

He also did a Cash Attack that has now gone by takin bonuses but ended up £90 into it and took a £60 MS. But he doesn't know the reels so I probably would have got it ages before that.

Also a mate that owes me money played a Hi Low silver - again by taking feature (this guy barely ever puts money in a machine) and his excuse was "because i wanted to give u some of the money u owe me".

I actually got a £105 off it that morning so he was damn lucky to get feature in the afternoon but seriously pay me back with money from a machine that I play?

But mates playing stuff the way we do using info I get by keeping in contact with people all over the country and making a lot of effort is a piss take.

Any1 else with something similar? So what about when I get something else - tell my mates when we are having a beer to go stand somewhere else? And when they laugh say actually I'm serious?

About a year ago I had a mate do a vortex on a thursday night when I was due to do it on the friday.
1) only reason he knew it was there was because he'd been with me once when i went to it.
2) He no longer lives in the area but was meeting me for a pint after I'd finished footy so hit it whilst he was waiting
3)Only reason he played it was because I tell him general bits n bobs

He also tried to do my jailbirds but left it with a flat £35 top.

Both m/c's where in old mans pubs that you wouldn't normally go in just for a pint.

I told him he was out of order, Explained my reasons and he agreed, Hasn't touched any in my area since. Thats because he's a mate.

If your mate can't see what he's doing is shady then he's not as much a mate as you think.
But at the same time, if you've got a mate that likes to play the fruits and just forces machines you can't expect him to not play em just so that you can keep winning money.

we've all opened our mouths with titbits of info in the past , to the wrong people , who were once considered a friend ,,,,,,,,,,, only to be stabbed in the back .

but these people dont see the big picture ,,,,,, the long haul ,,,,,,

so two years later they know nothing about nothing , and are skint , with no sympathy from me.

years ago , my wife's sisters boyfriend was skint ,,,,,, in the meltdown, cash beast days.

i took him on a few of my routes ,,,,, trained him up , even gave him a third of the profits .

he lived in notts ,,,,,, and after he could go it alone , i only asked him one thing ,,,,,, to never play any further south of notts ,,,,,,

well he thought it much easier to do my routes , rather than search for his own. i found out.

now a few years on ,,,,,,,, he knows nothing about current fruits , and is skint .

it's all about respect ,,,,,,, not money.

fuck me once ,,,,,,,,,,,,, but fuck yourself longterm .

The machines don't belong to you do they Alpine, or am I wrong?

You see, I see this as a sign of desperate times when somebody comes onto a public forum whinging about a mate playing 'his' machine. I know the economic state of the country is on its arse with inflation, deflation, interest rates, mass redundancies and whatnot. Your world will not come to an end because of one poxy HLS, or is that the only decent profitable machine you have these days?

Yes you have your principles, as do we all, and your mate has been a cunt. Hopefully its a lesson well learnt by yourself nto to do things in front of anyone. I get the impression the fruit game is becoming a little touchy, even more so than ever - long live anarchy thats all I say. Soon you will all be fighting over the chance to play them in the wastelands.

Too much Fallout 3 methinks!!

I'm not being arsey but nobody has the divine right to monopolise any given machine or area.

They aren't your machines just bad luck if some random guy is doing them to earn few quid, as long as players are being put out of the game by working class then im all for it

Has nobody understood the main point of the thread? Of course they are not my machines and if a mate is playing one normally that i normally play i'll lend them pound coins, mind the machine for them, go to the bar for them etc...

what does annoy me is them taking feature on hi lo as this is something they would never normally know.

And my other mate that took feature trying to give me some money back that he owed me did it on a hi lo that u can't check as it's opposite the bar so i would probably have gone in and got hammered had he not told me.

Don't forget a non gambler playing on hi lo normally is going to buzz it up if anything as he's just like any other slotter.

well how and why do they know? and you really expect them to play it and NOT take the feature if its offered? should they take the £6 cashpot or 4 block outs instead of the feature?

fcks sake, of course if you do it when they are there and they have even the slightest idea what you did, they are going to copy you...

maybe you should keep stuff you know to yourself.. not do stuff like that when people can see

i dont care what the initial point to your post was, you are a mug.

Wow great thread. I've been doing a route(area) for years now. But some while ago someone i know introduced some poeple to fruits and now they go on the same route as me. When i do MY OWN route they cry to their mates about me doing THEIR route lol. Even the guy i know does the same route now and then looks crestfallen and cries when i beat him to it. THen he has the cheek to tell his friends not to do his routes lol.
Well I say let them cry and moan to all and sundry. I'll just carry on doing the same routes i've been doing. My only limit is NEVER do a route that someone else takes you on if you never done it before. IF someone tells you something don't do the machine they play. Least find one of your own lol.

I agree wholeheartedly with what you are saying, basically don't bite the hand that feeds you. You would be suprised (or not) by the number of people who fail to abide by that simple rule, and in the past I have been "the hand", but have been fucked over, but yet my good nature has resulted in me being fucked over time and again....

No more though. You learn eventually.
