Ok here's the deal.....
You have 3 arcades, and in each you are allowed to site 5 machines, all have to be cat c current or legacy.
1 arcade is purely what you would like as a player to make the most profit.
1 arcade is purely what you would site as an operator to make the most profit.
1 arcade has to have machines sited where nobody feels ripped off, i.e. players and Joe Public get enough bang for their buck alike.
So, what's the Sceptre van bringing in ???

As a player :-
#1 - prgram 1 P5
#2 - program 1 Dial
#3 - program 1 slow dial
#4 - prgram 1 4 reeler
#5 - program 1 Going ape
All on hourly top up, think I might make a few quid in there.... When the van changes them its going to be P1 LOTR etc pretty good arcade no staff

As a player I think to be realistic the following line-up would be more than satisfactory.
1. A P3 Dial.
2. A reliable Red, ATM, Invincible or something similar
3. Rovers Return
4. A set of Golden Games that aren't on a bent chip
5. A Tefal Cash Attack
Of course none of this is any good without a regular stream of degenerate gamblers, the sort who like to push Dials, but collect bits and pieces on Reds. The absence of Randoms would also be a great help.

the diamond 7s are very hit and miss, and the cat c slottos have been gash ever since they went in.
id site
bar x7
bullion bars always do well cat c or d
joker poker/poker plus
mega jackpot
all depends on site, sometimes machines do well in one site, and rubbish in others.
maybe even a brcrest stampede 4player, never EVER needs refilling

Yes, good choice. Those Stampede's are particularly chronic, yet still get played alot by young and old alike.

these can turn on you all of a sudden even though you have found the one. you can be 150 up on it and then all of a sudden take 300 off you even though its the 'one'. im sure its filling up the long term pots.

Yes they were gems those games, found one in an arcade on the welsh coast a year or 2 ago. It was burnt, but I couldn't resist buying it back round so I could nail a shoot em up.
Great times!

As an operator I'd probably site 5 deals, obv not a dial/unchipped P5/4 Reeler, anything but should make good money. Something fucking awful like Empire Strikes Back or Juggling Jackpots would also take good money I reckon.
Not prepared to divulge what I'd want as a player, but as far as a cross between players/joe publics I'd have:-
Simpsons Beer Guide
Spin On It
Caesars Palace
Chipped Arcadia
Chipped Vamp
All good, groundbreaking machines (tho SBG was a clone of Sparta I guess) with excellent graphics and sound effects (especially SOI and Arcadia).
