I've never known it so on top at the minute!!!

Sick of feeling uncomfortable in boozers, your always gonna get looks/comments/landlord heat etc, but its at the stage now that you feel uncomfortable, A SEVENTY POUND TOP DOES NOT MEAN YOU'VE MADE SEVENTY POUND PROFIT!

I would take me all day to drive round the pubs i'm barred from, no-one say i used to have a car like that please. :P

Looks like they've seen you coming.

Doubt the £70 jps will make life any better. Regular winners at 35 are easy enough to clock - take 70+ out of a machine twice in and "your barred"

im telling you mate these £70 jps will cripple them , and i hope im out this game when they go bankrupt ... there making a huge error in my opinion.

70jp + greed + a player = disaster for the pub industry and leisure companies alike.

Sign of the times I'm afraid lads. Look at all the strikes in the last couple of weeks because foreign workers had been allocated jobs that british people where desperate for. All because it was cheaper to bring in the foreigners. This has been going on for years but because everyone had got a job and there was plenty of money to go around nobody was bothered.
Now all businesses are on there knees and desperate for cash, they'll be scrutinising every aspect of their business.

Simple fact is when there's plenty of cash to go round everybodys happy, when it dries up people start to worry and try to look after no1, then the tension builds and tempers flare when they're struggling.

It's fucking ridiculous, sorry to swear but it's outrageous.
Pig headed morons with not a clue about how the machine that they site on their premises actually works in relation to payouts.
Barred from a HLS near a Sleep Inn and told it was getting taken out because people like me where playing it.
Tried to reason with the 12k a year 'supervisor' or 'manager' or whatever, but to no avail.
I buy a drink, a proper drink and play the machine albeit slighter better than most. Not my problem, why these people have to get high and mighty I don't know. Oh yes, is it because *they* want to play the machine after hours. Yes that's it, well why don't *they* give up their poxy day job and travel round like the rest of us?

It is my opinion that machines should be taken out of pubs.

Rant over, as somebody else says now and then.

the games knackered mate ... i actually worry everytinme i walk into a pub ive been doing for years thinking " is this the day i get barred "

i have no sympathy for landlords or machine companies from this day forth , there own greed is there own downfall. Fu** em all

Its the stuff that were playing lately that aint helping either, to stand at a machine for the best part of 5 minutes in some cases without hardly pressing a button is a big part of whats made it on top, i've seen 5 heads clocking before when i turn for a glance, add to that lots of empty quiz machines +IOU's, the gaffers are trying to look after there best intrests and stay afloat and you can't blame them, but it is annoying to get barred from a good hit, an all too familiar outcome for me lately.

gotta agree with the above , seems no matter what you do to try and smooth things over , your sort of earmarked as a threat as soon as you walk through the door, and gambo put it best , years ago they didn't have to scrutinise every part of the business .

even if you buy a cheep pub snack baggette, or somethingorother ,,,,, to put a few quid over the bar and try to act the casual punter ,,,,,,, you stil get watched like a hawk , and are made to feel like a criminal if you win oat over a tenner,

over the last few years landlord awareness has gone through the roof ,,,,, thanks to many factors ,,,,, recession , toolers , bigger prises etc.

yet they never see what we put in ,,,,,,, only what we take out .....

and for that reason 70pots are gonna be a nightmare to contend with.

nothing we can do .

we just have to soldier on until either the industry collapses , and were forced back to the arcades , ( could happen ) or quit and try to do something else with our lives .

i for one will continue to play until i cant make at least an average of over £60 + a day , no matter which way the industry turns.

it could still be thriving for us in 5 years ,,,,,,,, but im not holding my breath .

It's the toolers that have made it on top for everyone, as soon as landlords hear a lot of money come out they automatically think the machine is being done over.

If you where actually a player then you woudn't have mis-interpreted Red's post. The machines where switched off after he walked in not before.

Tut tut, School boy error there.

The Player is correct though.

Steal a march on the competition by getting up at half past 4 in the morning.
Break into the pub, and play the machine until the police/landlord with a baseball bat arrive.
Explain to the nice men that you are Napoleon Bonaparte, and that these are not the droids that you are looking for.
Proceed to institution.

Simple really.
