Stumbled across this site looking for info on how to play fruit machines properly. Also looking to get my own machine for home to practise on and have fun without wasting my pennies!

Couple of questions, are there any online games about that replicate fruit machines so you can learn techniques etc.? I have a learned the concept of playing, its just the part when you get onto the features and what to do in certain circumstances that lets me down! But I suppose that comes with experience.

Any tips would be appreciated im fed up of losing money!!

you can download old emulators from a certain fruit site with EMU in the name but you wont find anything on there that will help you with machines that are in you local now mate..its illegal you emulate machines more modern than 95/98 (someone verify this :D )

its a good site with some really fun emulations though..

How do you learn the little things that go with playing fruit machines!? Like when to take the gamble button on the feature board, when to spin on or take the feature etc! Another thing that makes me lose is when I play the hi-lo gamble and always do it for that 1 too long, how do you know when to stop playing that!

Think I need to spend an hour or so with someone who really knows what they are doing, but I dont know how theyd react if I asked someone in a casino if I could watch them play and bugging them with questions. How would you react?

download the emulators like i said and you can practice till you go blue in the face...dont go playing for real money on real moneys if you dont even know these basics as you will get robbed blind mate.

Got the great escape emulator working, learned that hi-lo gambles always screw you over after 3 goes, and its best to exhange asap to get onto the feature! Will try a few more boards out I think, getting the hang of it though!! Another thing, do you play with 3 win lines usually or stick to 1?

always play with 3 winlines activated.

just ensure that if you do start playing the real thing stick to your limits...

but PRACTICE ALOT FIRST..

good luck

you need to ensure the ROM you have is for the right emulator...
