Tooling

Good Afternoon everyone.

I appreciate Sundays are the most common day for sudden one of headaches and illnesses which of course are completely unrelated to the excssive amounts of alcohol that you consumed the prior eveing.

So please accept my apologies if this question has been answered or it is a repetative.

Through speaking to the general Joe who is plugging the fruit machine next to me people seem to be blaming their bad luck (or in my opinion incompetence) on toolers.
Looking around on this site aswell, it seems that they have come of age as of late, and are popping up everywhere.

Could I ask what exactly is tooling?
What do people do to these machines?
What state does it leave the machine in after?

I mean if someone says tooling to me it automatically springs to my mind that someone is giving the machine a bashing with a hammer or something, and im sure that this is far from the case.

Are there any tell tell signs to look for in a machine that has been tooled?

Once again apologies if this questin has been asked before.

Thanks!

A leading newspaper conducted a survey in Liverpool in relation to the 'credit crunch'.
The Newspaper asked whether they where happy with the current currecny or would they feel more secure if Britian joined the Euro.

99% of Scoursers said they where happy with the giro!

As I said I appreciate the question may have been asked before but cannot seem to find the answer to my question, all I can find is people slagging toolers off. The post then goes completely off topic and everyone seems to lay into someone called SILVERSURFER.

Stupid me, there I was posting a fruit machine related question on a fruit machine site, in the hope that someone would answer me.

Sarchasm really isn't appreciated. If you don't want to answer my question then don't. Or if you would prefer to trade insults, then im afraid I don't have the time.

Sorry you feel that way.

To be honest the response above by Quizard was because this has all the makings of a thread that will turn into a slanging match or disagreement; as all the other tooling threads have been.

Anyway.
Tooling is using illegal methods to empty the money from a fruit machine, using devices or tools.
Common methods involve fooling a note acceptor into thinking it has legitimately taken a note, adding credits without using actual coins, or illegally accessing the hopper dump facility.
Technically using "illegitimate" currency to obtain credits is also tooling (it is certainly fraud).

Silversurfer got flamed for being boring; posting almost identical threads and being aggressive. Yes most of us agreed that tooling is bad, but we didn't see the need for multiple rants....

Anyway welcome to the forum. :)

We do not have to answer any of your questions,
so I suggest if you do want the answers less of the attitude .

I suggest you read the forum rules, we do not want threads about tooling.
