Drove past there this morning at 6:55 and could see smoke coming from the fast-food bar on the West Tower. I remember thinking to myself, 'Once the flames get to those chip-fryers, it's Game Over'.
Check out the pictures and videos on Sky. Fucking terrible.
One of the Golden Games was due a big flash aswell...

OMG just seen it on local news.weston pier proper f##ked,luckily no one hurt.
new owners been in less than a year..............oops!

One quiet summer Friday at Newbury racecourse the burger van owner decided to re-paint his van. The next morning there was just a big scorch mark on the floor. The sun was so intense that the van caught fire and literally melted the thing.

If that was the case it would have made sense to wait till summer season was almost over first to maximise any takings. Having said that, the cynic in me thought the same thing initially.

Would be very suprised if it were not arson, done at such a time the fire services could not use the sea water to help put out the blaze either.
Very sad.

when the new owners took over,they got rid of a lot of tenants that had done business on there for years ,also they barred alot of locals..........hmm.
