Is it me or do the extras always seem to be pressing the buttons in attract mode or the machine will be saying collect yet they will be pressing start and the top glass features. The funniest was when that Patrick from eastenders put a pound in and got a jackpot yet the sound effects were from a 80's Bar - x

I think Patrick was keeping on top of Albert Square, but now Rickys back he's been off on his toes.
I heard Ricky was looking for the Dosh & Pecks after he realised it went from the bookies. Luckily its now in the Snooker hall and he has its location!!
Whos the supplier in Eastenders? Couldn't see any stickers.

Whenever anyone is on a games console on Coronation Street (mainly David Platt) the sound effects are from Defender, a 1980 classic from Williams. The fruit machine effects are the jackpot (£2) sounds from any of several Barcrests from about 1983 (Hyper Viper, Nudges Unlimited, Exchanges Unlimited).
The impulse they have in the Vic in Eastenders still has the sound affects from a golden dragon, probably sad for noticing that but there you go
Edit alert: This is JG (obviously) barging in and talking some nonsense on your post.
A wormhole opened up in the space-time-fruitchat-continu-yum thing. It said "seriously, you have too much time on your hands" in a voice that sounded like Poker Pete. The wormhole closed.
"While some of the 265 complaints received by Ofcom were short and straightforward, one group assembled a 176-page document alleging 137 breaches of the Broadcasting Code. " - now that's time on your hands!

Think it would be great if you were watching Eastenders one night (admit, we all have at one point), and you saw a player go in and cane their fruit!
Or Grant/Phil caught one of the toolers robbing it.
Can just hear Peggy now: "'Ere Grant! Wots 'ee doin' to my fruit machine?!"
Punch! Smack! Boot! - "You're barred"!

Didn't know what the sound effects were, but I had noticed that they werent the ones for that machine, and that it always has at least a credit in it with the start button flashing. Its Cash Blast by Voodoo (or it was!).harry2 wrote:Whenever anyone is on a games console on Coronation Street (mainly David Platt) the sound effects are from Defender, a 1980 classic from Williams.
