Airport Arcades? Worth a look?

Ok, newbie on the board but been playing for a while now, and lately work has had me passing through a lot of UK regional airports, and I play most times while waiting to fly off. Many have the older generation £25 jp machines that I used to enjoyu playing but have disappeared from my local pubs.
My theory is that because these machines are past the security checkpoints, you arent going to fall victim to regular "professional" players, however whats other peoples experiences while jetting off to elsewhere?
Over all I find them to be a good haul, and as I said most are like a museum of older machines which is a nice change from DOND, but in the profit margins, are often a little more profitable than the usual pubs.
Anyone else got anything to add? Or am I just lucky

Was in Leeds/Bradford departure lounge 3 weeks ago. 4 reel deal chipped with £15 profit in it and a piece of shit with it. £35 campers in the Yates and dire old machines with noteys off everywhere else.
Runway too short for PIA 747s to Islamabad.

good in theory, but all you have to think, is what is the cheapest available flight these days, and do people always make it to the departure gates..
yes its worth a punt, but dont go thinking that people dont go in just to see if the lastest emptyables are there... nottingham east midlands used to have a couple of pie factory/clones and at one point a money laundery... and they were getting hit reguarly at the time...
but all in all, you might find the machines are ok...

The machines past the security won't often be done, in my experience anyhow, before the security you'll be lucky not to be moved on by police, as you are not allowed at airports unless going somewhere/picking people up. On the latter point, I suppose you could lie to them but once they've seen you a few times, I doubt the same excuse will wash.

Agreed.. try playing the good winstopper at heathrow.. the staff threaten you with the police if you so much as get a board ! They asked me for ID after I went higher on an 11. I refused, citing that they have no legal authority to demand any form of identification from me. They called the fuzz. I was advised to leave ! For going higher than an 11.... *sigh*

Lol no, this was infact the arcade I was "caught" as such in a few months ago, and told to leave the airport if I am not flying anywhere!
Was playing a golden game in the arcade, was the autonudge program if anyone's interested :P
DMAC perhaps your airport has different rules on who is allowed in the airport, but this is what I was TOLD BY POLICE!!!
