Uuuuftt, ummmmm, uffffft.
Dream Factory is good. You won't be slating this soon. Apparently there is something on this. I heard it from a top secret source. Will trade info that 'there is something on Dream factory' for 'info on Dream Factory'. I will also throw in a bonus location gratis.

lol this is the end of pro's for me... these poor new dond's are not profitable, and are too widespread, eventually all you'll get is these poor bfm and mazooma machines, with the occasional oche oche oche and monster cash thrown in...

Yeah, and theres nothing really wrogn with Monster Cash anyway.
Now Showtime. Urrrrrrgh. What's the point of it? Every decent thing from older clones (COB, phone boards) taken away, no nearest win prises, cash code worse. £4 blocked boards everywhere. I've never even seen a sueprboard on any being played. Shockingly bad.

I'm not sure I can name a single pub within 10 miles that doesn't have something in an Eclipse cabinet - usually a DOND variation.
Granted there are one or two profitable games around, but most stuff is pure crud nowadays.
My main concern is that a lot of stuff now is unattractive to your average punter - the very people we rely on to lose money. Countless machines want £7 or more just to see a board ... Joe Public have only gotta experience that once or twice and they'll stop spending altogether.

Nixxy as a fellow londoner, I echo everything you say. It's amazing how few people play the things in our fair city, yet how wankered they seem to be at all times (the machines, not the people...well, some of the people, no doubt including your good self mr nix

dont be racist, pick...but yer, thats one of my regular haunts, or rather used to be before i slowed down the amount i was playing. used to do very nicely on the s16s there before they all got converted to bastard3s.
But if you go to the pubs in london, the machines tend to be battered.

I was lucky in that place
got gold pot on the riches twice, and since i never played/play very regularly anyway (even less now) i was happy with that! best of the two was £490.
