Ok is this what it has come to???

Walked into a daily refill pub today to play their Vortex
I got in just as they opened and the duty manager was still refilling it
Anyhow as i got to the bar i looked and saw him look at me
He played a pound in the m/c and got on the board
1 nudge ARB1
Yes i thought some profit here

Then he decides to turn it off
He comes to the bar and says 'what you having'
So i ask him why the m/c is off
Instead of making up an excuse he says 'cos i want to play it when my other member of staff arrives'

I then asked if his manager knew he played m/c's while he was meant to be working
Of course he just passed it off and said yes

I told him i had changed my mind about the drink and left quite annoyed by it
But hey what can you do???

Ha ha at least he was honest,Not right but honest.

I'd left, rang up and asked to speak to manager and explain the "fixing" that was going on.

Things like this are very annoying, but I can assure you the best thing to do is bite your lip and walk away. My policy is never to 'burn any bridges' because the day will come when you want to go back in. If any of the bar staff or landlord are showing signs of getting on top of you or wanting to play the machine theres only going to be one loser and it won't be them.

Good point actually. I've never told them to stop watching because I've always thought it'll just lead to trouble. It's irritating as fuck though isn't it? Really fucking irritating.
