Truly one of the greatest hi-tec's to ever be released, good streak profile, fair gameplay, you can recycle, you can chase and no stupid board sucks. Something for everybody, the player, the munter, the swede(ists), good sound, good gameplay good machine. Bellfruit should take a look at this eh?

BTW, is that the one in Yarmouth arcade that runs as often as you see a comet or shooting star??

Pub programme me thinks, only 100 times worse!!

The £5'ers are HUGE!!!

IJ3 - by far the best of the IJ series. Like you say, so damn easy to read, never costs loads for boards. Block testers, and if it doesn;t run after pot then mop up and leave. No harm done. 8)

These r the only £5ers that i do well on
at the coasts, usually takes about £8-£12 for
pot, next board will tell ya if u gotta £40-£50
profit coming....

Maybe one of you chaps could set me straight, but I never saw the attraction of this machine.

Now I had a good few streaks out of it myself, but at no point did I belive that I was enjoying it. IJ3 was a clone of a great many machines that had gone before it - and compared to the previous Italian Jobs - was a poor show. Fair gameplay??? Woe betide anyone who fancied getting above a fiver without chucking a decent wedge in.

So where was I going wrong?

wasn't the IJ series the ones that had code in them that meant after a win a set number of reel spins had to occur before there could be another win offered?

i remember someone hacked the roms and found this lovely snippet of information.

Easy though, take a board, and turbo gamble away. Readiness told in an instant. 8)

The first chip of this also had a nice little bonus win you could take while it was rolling!

The second chip had a nice bonus win you could take when it wasn't.

:D Just seeing this machine makes me so happy. I absolutely love it. I believe there is one at Luton Airport which I play on my not-frequent-enough trips to France before checking in.

Right. I was wandering past a ramshackle arcade today, poked my head round the door and their sole 25 quid hi tec was indeed IJ3.

So I had a quick go. 7 quid in (cheap boards my arse) and I got offered Turbo Cash. It went up to 2.40 which certainly doesn't sound very ready.

I went out and did my shopping, came back, had 1 more shot and was delighted to see TC going up to a tenner. 15 quid later I was 75 notes richer :)

It's still a boring machine though!

In the current climate, £7 is reasonable!

How about £15+ on any red thats not feeling up to it, any DOND clone thats been ripped, new barcrests etc. Dire.

Used to love that £75 roll when your first pot repeated, or the second board after glowed. Quality.

SHUT UP!! :D

no profit in em atall 12 in for 35 bk on a good day find a cludo get lines and have a garenteed 35 and just the same chance of streaking as that shitty ij3 would do
