Spoons

Post by kidgloves »

Anybody else finding that machine moves at JDW's are very slow ? My local has had games media and chipped DOND's in for an age now, although if anything playable comes along they are only too quick to get it shifted, the Cluedo lasted 6 weeks but our longest standing machine has been in their over a year !

Some are and some aren't yeah. Seeing as they've all changed to Gamestec now, it may be different. When LL supplied there was a JPTRAR in spoons here for over a year which annoyed me! We also got stuck with Gold Rush/Bucks/Warped for an age. Bring back the golden days when i had LAB/TAW/Keyable extreme! :D

The worst spoons i ever saw machine was was the Punchbowl in York last time i was there. Juggling Jackpots/Take The Piece/Jekyll & Hyde/Power 5/Old Cluedo. Yuckkkkkkkkkk!

i was doing the invincible [well trying] in the willy wigston ages ago, i caught it in a playable state once, same with the bookies facing it, there was some life in the extreme just up the road though

i never bother with this area these days.

About 20 months ago, I had 3 key extremes in a Wetherspoon in Yorkshire. Heaven at the time, full of compulsive retards as well!

Don't mind playing in Spoons, obviously you will take the odd hit being a daily float (usually) but get your timings right and there's little reason you should have any problems.

I believe those that have hotels all open at 7am. Used to do the one in Chesterfield when it had the P1 Winstopper. I also know of one (a Lloyds) that closes at 3am on weekends.
All in all I generally find them pretty good for machines these days.
