If he pulls you into a back room and starts undoing his trousers, make it clear that it was
only the key you were wanting

Just do a search on Google for barrel keys after getting the serial from the surround of the actual lock

Fruities Are Dying, Soon There Will Be No Refil Keys.

I reckon by the end of the year at the latest ALL pub fruits will be fitted with these locks...
Spoke to a guy in my local arcade and he was like "all the suppliers are re fitting their machines all over the UK"
So the refill key 8700 series will die.
Hopefully they will bring out a version of this slightly more complex version.

i dont see the point of them changing the locks, I mean people will just get the new key and it'll be cut many 1000's of times and they'll face the same situation...
a different key for every machine... I doubt it, would be very fiddly for engineers/refill people!

Ob,
Trust mate, these arent your standard lowe and fletch you can get down your local key cutters....
Its a different type of key, maybe they arent different for every machine...But you wont be able to take it to get it cut. If they do go out on ebay they will be VERY expensive....
Very soon the days of keying will be over, until someone finds out how to get these mass produced.
Its blatantly an any-key move for manufactures, more security, less info for the punter = more profit for them. If we cant read the hopper balance then its all down to reading gameplay.
Hard times are ahead.

ALLOT OF PLACES ARE JUST DISCONNECTING THERE KEY SLOTS ALREADY OR PULLING IT THROUGH SO ITS INSIDE THE BOTTOM DOOR. IT WILL BE A BATTLE WHEN THE KEY IS NO MORE BUT IT WILL MEAN THAT CLUEYS THINKING THEY ARE CLUED UP PLAYERS WILL SACK IT IN ALLOT OF MACHINES AND YOU HOPEFULLY WONT NEED A KEY BECAUSE WILL HEAR FIRST POUND DROP INTO BUCKET AND THE MACHINE WILL SHOW A SET OR A RED. I'VE PLAYED LOADS OF MACHINES WERE THE KEY SLOT HAS BEEN REMOVED OR FIDDLED WITH. YOU CAN STILL BEAT THE MACHINE IF YOU KNOW IT WELL. I CAN SEE THEM DOING SOMETHING WITH KEYS. I DUNNO WHY THEY ARE SO MUGGY OVER IT THO, THEY MAKE SO MUCH MONEY ONE PERSON AT LEAST SHOULD BE ALOUD TO COME AND WIN.

How can you doubt it ob? The service and cashbox doors have unique locks. When it comes to refill, this is rarely done via the coin mech, especially with large capacity hoppers. The machine is opened up and the coins poured in, which requires at least one individual key anyway.
