its always worth pushing your face up against the glass near the reels, have a quick look at whats in the tubes and you know if its worth playing

The best one was when they covered the tubes with a bin liner and left the bottom or top showing, so you could see if it was really empty or really full. Also if they covered the 20p tube but not the £1 tube or other stupid stupid ups.
Tubes are great innit?
I was playing a Grand Golden Game the other day and the tubes were full after £40. I knew the tube was full as it was dropping or backing as the terminology goes in my CMA welcome pack.
I often try a few quid in Slotto as well, if it's going over the back, the tubes are full and it's a guaranteed win.
I've got a new Bar-X £1/£4 in a local Nowboatleysilversora which has a £1000 hopper. I suppose that £4 could hold a few times and refills are a nuisance.
Does anyone know how much the tubes in a Grand Golden Game hold? I heard that it was £15 in 2ps and £30 in £1 coins? Is that right?
