Hi everyone

Bit of a newbie to these things - had a disasterous day yesterday on the old fruities and lost a small fortune, was hoping someone here might be able to offer some advice on some machines

Firstly machine was R2R, first 3 quid in and it seemed like it was in a good mood, cashpot going over a fiver straight away and plenty of red numbers, but eventually had 20 in for 20 straight back out. Then it suddenly changed its mood and sucked the whole 20 back in, it played where it keeps giving you extra zone and no shots then killing you - it is actually a really shit machine this one so i walked 20 down

Second one was Snakez & Ladderz, put 40 in without taking any wins to get the top feature which went for a typical 35. Kept playing and eventually lost 25 on this piece of shit as would not let me past a tenner - first time i have played this and found it a really dificult machine to beat

Third was Show me the mummy where it really hurt, 120 went in without a single top feature, on last pound managed a JP on an 8 so had to collect, followed by a 15 quidder, but a really bad loss on this, it was blocking at a tenner for ages

Last was DOND, the one with the telephone dial on the 3rd reel, basically sucked 40 out of me without a mega streak as usual, then decided to give up

Anyways, today the pub i am going to has a Cock a dodle dough, vortex and new cash attack - any ideas how to claw some pride back from these 3 would be greatly appreciated

Cheers

Well you've made a few mistakes there.

If R2R is playing like that then don't collect £20 and go back on it. Either take the £20 and walk as it'll go stone dead, or if its that ready then chase out the lines board with cars all down the side.

SMTM - If its giving £15s after the first pot its there for another. Should have rechased it.

Snakez - Should be there for 2 after that much in, but if its tenner blocking then maybe not.

DOND - You can only really get lucky on these. Can prise in a bit of extra value from boards with the no lose numbers.

what do you mean by a lines board?

Play for the red lines on the winline & it'll usually offer the IM board if it's in a good mood. This is where all the cars are lit down the cash.
SMTM don't bother going all out for the top. Collect on £35 as if its streaking it'll go up top soon after. If it aint it can take quite a bit of more cash to just get the flat £35 top but you where definatly there for another £35 after your 1st board.
S & L Jury is still out on this. had 1 bad session where I had to recycle 5 Flat £35 tops before finally getting 2 £35 tops only £5 apart for a £60 loss but i've had several £30 - £50 in for either a £70 top or 2 close £35's.

I find it ok tbh

Played one the other day though and i can see why it can be nasty
Played for a board on normal spins and the bonus gave NR for £15 that won to £25
That gamble died
Then went pretty dead for £60
In the end it cost £80 for £35
Then a further £20 for a £70 a few wins after gave around £15 profit
But that NR that won to £25 came within just £5
So i would have expected a better return than that
Also it does not seem to go overly red this either

I now have 3 of these not been 'done' yet!!
