The kind of pub which wouldn't let you in because you're English is the kind of pub that you wouldn't go into to do the machines anyway.

I have quite a few English and Irish friends, and have drunk with them in some of the shadiest bars in Glasgow (Paisley Road West, just down the road from Ibrox) - and nobody ever got asked to leave because of their nationality.

Not that I'm accusing you of lying. I firmly believe you were refused service up here. However, if you put yourself about like you do on here, I'm not surprised bar staff refused to serve you.

Oh, and I'm wide-awake thanks.

I make people of all nationalities welcome at the Golden Sovereign, I think it's really important as an act to improve race relations.

An Irish or Scottish person is just as welcome to play my machines as somebody from Manchester, Liverpool, Blackpool, Burnley, London, York, Coventry, Preston, Bristol, Chorley, Carlisle, Uttoxeter, Scarborough, Hull or Stoke.
