trying to remember the name of a machine.....

Any help would be greatly appreciated but I apologise for my sketchy memory.

Its 100% a Global machine.

Used to work in an airport 3 years ago and although it was only £5 jackpot I used to walk away up all the time.

It wasnt a symbols game, it was a "get 9 for the board, 4 is a bonus" machine.

I remember the board being rectangular, of the small variety down towards the reels. Above the board was 3 columns with red blue and yellow arrows in between various knock outs. Column 1 being cash, 2 being features and 3 maybe nudges. They may or may not have been to the backdrop of a volcano - definatiely Global so it wasnt cashflow.

On the left side of the machine was a cash column and on the right was features.

I apologise for the sketchiness but if someone came up with a name I'm sure it'd refresh my memory.

Thanks in advance.

Was it one of the 'Bat Outta Hell' series of games that Global made? Very un-readable, but plenty going on, and often quite tidy profits to be had.

I believe that the three 'arrow trails' would go up to a Big Money type feature if you got to the top of one of them?

Would like to play one of these again... ;)

I'm sure you needed 5 (!) hearts for an extra life, and 5 pitchforks would give you something else (Big Money). 5 Question marks would give you IM.

Then again, maybe it wasn't this one... :)

Cracking machine indeed. There was a clone out called Stairway to Heaven (or something similar) which I believe had the aforementioned colour scheme.

The only clone I saw of Bat Outta Hell was Buffy the Jackpot Slayer or something stupid.. and it was awful. They chipped out all the best bits !

Bat Outta Hell was very readable. Just had to know what to look for. You could prize JPs out of it all the time, since reels didn't respin on feature entry, and red boxes were repeatedly obtainable from Super Hold...

Remember having top feature red on BOH and it only paid £20 odd not the full £25 as I thought :x

Yup, have said this before, the top feature on the feature trail does NOT always pay JP. :(

These were brilliant for rips though, super hold, nudges, red boxes, etc...

:)
