What makes a good bandit?

OK I would like some input, serious, of course, as to what our members here would deem go to make up a good machine. I would prefer to receive your comments by message and not to be posted so all manufacturers to view.
As, if all manufacturers followed this input we could end up with a whole load of similar machines.
Comments would be much appreciated. I know I will get some stick from some members as to why a industry person is doing this etc but what the hell!!!!

I suggest manus re-release their back catalogue with obvious prize/stake/JP increases. and put the FUN back in gaming.
We all know the great Bellfruit era, the great Maygay M1A era, the Barcrest MPU4 catalogue, machines that were enjoyable and entertaining.
New ideas are'nt needed, just re-release some of the back catalogue.

i would'nt mind a blue/red trail on £35 jackpot, or even a darts clone or wobbler clone on £35, things are pretty boring too play these days, don't get me wrong i love reds profit wise but its just hi-lo on mega spins and reforce etc. something with a decent board would be nice though still not tried a snakez and ladderz yet but i've heard some bad reports.

Describing what makes a good machine isnt really gonna mean they all go shit (tbh, they mainly already have!). Positive aspects for us dont have to be negative for the common munter

So what you're basically saying is you want information which is to be exclusive to whichever company you work for. You could get this by visiting test sites and asking a variety of players personally. You gain a shed load more information this way.
I'd rather visit the ATE or other similar trade show and see a whole load of similar machines that are considered good, as opposed to machines that are similarly a sack of shit. You've only needed to go to Earl's Court this past couple of years and see some hi-techs hiding in corners, looking very sorry for themselves, to realise that the former situation is far favourable to the latter.

The jackpot to price per play ratio must come down. Either make the machines 50p play/£15 jackpot or £1 play/£30 jackpot with the chance of more repeats. Some older machines had the potential to pay six or seven jackpots so there is the chance of winning £200 quid on £1 per play. If you are playing for a red top feature on 2007 machines that are going for £105 then you may as well play club machines. They need to make the percentages higher also. Some machines on 76% are absolutely 5hit. That's why there are no casual players left. Make the machines 92% payout and people will play them all day long rather than 76% gathering dust in the corner of a pub/arcade/snooker hall.

Hi all. OK firstly thanks for input so far.
The Mission, I see what you are saying however I really believe that the members here can contribute in a way that is additional to normal, site visits etc, this i why I asked the forum. Also, yes it is commercial reason I ask and any other company could ask as well. I work and try my best for my employer, and will do what I consider will be worthwhile.
All post and no messages so far..... is this an indication of open forum.
Anyway please continue, it does help in base knowledge and so can be fruitful for all parties.

I am not saying the members here can't contribute. I am just of the opinion that even a half-hour face to face conversation with anyone, about anything, beats all the phone/email/video conferencing bollocks hands down. People can speak faster than they can type, and if they happen to be standing in front of the very thing you're asking them about at the time - even better. Maybe I'm just old-fashioned

Bah don't start this club machine debate - It doesn't work!
How hard is it to get £75+ on a clubber these days? I can't think of any round here i could do well off. Cops n Robbers? No chance. Crests? Always too dead. JPMs? Unless you've seen a load go in, red hot 6s aren't that great. Pub machines...well you get £75+ on numerous occasions, usually daily. You can tell their readiness much more easily and win more often. Maybe you're out of touch Harry!

Now I don't play Club Machines very often therefore I'll assume they're around 10/20p play with a £250 jp, you have the LCD £1 play for a £500 jp in all bookies. So why, now that most AWP's are played at 50p spin the jp is only £35 with repeats few and far between? Surely a £50/60 jp should be considered for 50p play and maybe a £30/35 jp for 30p play, the casual players would play the lower stakes, win a bit, then change stakes and lose the lot, ha ha, then the bigger boys would come over and either do their nut or get a £762 streak off a tenner. :P
After all that I should have said us AWP players get a raw deal when comes to Jackpots.

Well i dunno about that, repeats are many and many between

for reds at least.
I assume you havnt had an awful lot of experience with a redding red

, by that i mean a good one (not a good one, g1, g1, g1, g1, g1, g1 of course :wink

like invincible say, or OAR i also find to be a good one, convientely situated by a very GOOD ONE. Easy pickings weekly, especially the good one which is best of the lot!
Its a jackpot!
