Horrible, horrible, horrible

I had a blindin' day Sunday. A blindin' day last Tuesday. So the inevitable hurdle was surely just around the corner?

Ok Here it is.

You know you should leave when the £5 Cluedo clone takes £7 for a pink one. First lineypoops as well. Then you put £2 in the 4 reeler and you can see MS is there, but it kills you on a 2 gambling back up. So you're about a fiver down and your favourite machine is switched off.

THAT is the point where you should go...not happenning here, back to work.

YOU should not notice that the lady who puts all her money in crazy fruits in on the casino deal or no deal and you should not get into a conversation.

"Hello. Are you winning?"

"No, I'm a fiver down."

"Oh. That's pretty good isn't it? I've put nearly one hundred in this." <<collects £35 off DOND game>>

"Uuurgh! I thought you were winning - I hate that Deal or no deal. It's too harsh."

<<<Aaaaaaand a very warm welcome. Deal or no deal.>>

"Yes, I'm only playing it as the Crazy Fruits have all paid out"

<<<Gets down to MS and £6 and offers £20 dead on. £20 dealt. Mega Streak in box>>

"Oooh Mega Streak in box."

"Yes but I've got £50 back. I'll try a couple more and leave it."

Which she does. I tell her that when MS appears it's usually there for teh next couple of boards. She says she doesn't want the risk and I can have it.

"Are you sure? You won't get mad if I put in £2 and win £100s?"

"No. Love. You have it."

Surely this was a licence....a licence to print money. I'd been fair. I'd told her I thought it was still paying and she'd given me the machine. Surely, surely this was a banker.

£22 if for a board......bit pricey but MS was surely in the box ;)

Left with 50p and MS....no dealt and my face must have been priceless when I won 50p no hold.

It gets worse. £38 for a fiver nudge. Wolf whistle. Irritating.
It was then a blur of notes in, no wins and frustration.

This is the down side of playing SpongeBob. You can have all the skill blappers, win starters, Extremeleys Redleys and bloopers you like, but rusty nails will get you. When the odds seem to be 99.99% in your favour, you'll take a blow below the belt.

THIS WAS BELOW THE BELT AND WAS VERY FRUSTRATING.

Surely the main reflex owed big time.

£180 in for £70 back on a couple of DOND boards. Where was the mega?

I've noticed the £35 version gives more sensible offers.

Then £100 in (two fiver wins) and then DOND. Mega was there again. £70.

£10 back in dead as anything. Left it.

What a con.

£280 in, £150 back.

I hadn't got the will to plug on for the % lost to various reflexes.

My understanding on this is it's not pot based so much.

It's a main reflex, jackpot reflex and MS reflex.

It's a long cycle and I missed out on any slice of the latter two. Hence a lovely sub 70% return for my £280 foray.

I know see the MS was a sign the big streakypoos was there, it was just because there was so much value in the main. It was taking THAT much for boards.

What I don't understand was surely there should have been more value in the main. It seemed to be programmed to take loads for the feature. Surely not well balanced?

Come on PMK Mr. lo tech reflex pot manipulating streaky knockback king. What the hell happenned here? I'll stick to my hi-techs and safe los for a while. I thought this game was supposed to be fair. It felt decidedly 'unfair' and on a base 80% payout. 55/15/10. Or thereabouts.

These games are shite. 80% and long cycle shiteyness and £300 is a drop on the Ocean yet you 'owe' the house £60. What a shite.

Surely the only way to play is wait for some granny to lose a load and then....no just smash it.

Only ever play in arcades when they have them cash match promotions on. Then I play a £5 JP machine, take all small wins and walk out with my dinner money (only on days off of course when I am wandering around town)
