Quite a frustrating day'splaying today...
Started off a BTQ, normally good little result, as it's in an O'Neills, gets lots of people throwing change in, and is refilled daily. £20 out from £9 in, mainly from a tenner it gave me from 3 Superstrikes. Onto a R2R, tenner in on 50p play, first board gives me a red super streak which goes for £7. Think that'll do thankee. Another Super Streak, this time for £8, in the Suits u Sir next to from a fiver in.
Next pub, Manic Miner eats a fiver for nothing, the cluedo next to it another £7 goes for nought. And then I get a DOND WOW.
Now I like this bugger (this is all in a Greene King who refill daily but who get quite a few pro's in), I find this WOW like giving the DOND feature, and offers lots of boards on 50p play. Sure enough, first spin gives a "banker's seal" thing which gets me 3 lovely phones. Am left with £6 or £1, no deal it and it's the quid, but which repeats 5 times. Odd. Throw a mere three quid more in, and I hear Noel telling me how sensational my games gonna be, it's an IM, pretty much out of nowhere. I ignore my red phones, amd just move round the board, it gives me 3 MS mugs in three spins, and goes for a flat £35. SHould I have taken the MS in the DOND game? Would that have made any difference? Next board sucks for a tenner, and I collect the £8 it offers me. Happy me.
Pop into my local Megabowl on the way back, mainly for the cheap Strongbow, and come a across a Jackpot Gems £5 that's pretty happy. First board gives me 11 Nudges which goes for £4.40, next one gives me 12, which autonudges for a fiver, higher than 2 I get a flat fiver from the mega board thingy, next board £4, all from the same quid. Stick another £2 but not so much as a hold. Stick a tenner in the Corrie in the bar area for nothing.
Final pub.
Chav and his missus playing the P5, so I head to the MMM, which gives me £3 from £12 in. I've now lost all of Jackpot Gem's winnings. The chav collects a tenner or so from the P5, and I head on, and get DOND straight away, gives me a red mega blast with reels full of sevens, so I'm pretty confident, lands me on a ? after spinning... a 5. So I collect and I'm left with 5 big ones. Leaves me £20 and MS, offers me 35, I deal and I had the 20. Collect it, go back to the MMM, stick £20 in or so, dead, dead, dead. end up collecting a ss for £7.
Back to P5. THIRTY QUID in, best I can get is a fiver.
Lost track of my total winnings, how much I've lost, but can't believe how much of a prick I am.

Jesus you played some of the worse fucking machines out there.

You dont sound like some1 who knows how to play, you dont seem like you should be out there to make money, but only to gamble a few quid, you cant get annoyed when you lose money you made, when it sounds like you expected to make money on some of the machines you actually played on!

Machines arent there to make money on, the few of us who know how to do it know the risks, and sometimes it dose all go tits up as we all know.

I dont think you should go out with a frame of mind of "I can make money" on these, coz you clearly dont have enough information to your name yet.

Stop playing. Or Play as if your going to lose anyway, and take any win as a bonus. Dont be gutted when you lose wheat you've won, otherwise you will be sincerely gutted when you lose money that you never won in the first place.

P.S. went and played for first time since start of september while waiting to meets mates sat night.

£20 in £1 spin project 'megabars' lasted 5 mins.
Another £10 in, not a win, last credit combo for 26 free spins.
£4 for first 6, up to 145 with 10 left, 425 with one left, easily predictable, 75 on last spin for 500! Had to bribe attendant 20 quid to change the fvckers up, as it was 5 to 8 and she'd just 'done the float'.

I've just had a very bad afternoon, £150 down. Never mind shit happens, its my first big hit for a long time and I've been on a good run for the last few weeks, therefore its no big deal.

Nothing ventured nothing gained, it will be made back by the end of the week.

If you have managed to lose £150 in one afternoon how can you be sure your going to make it back by the end of the week?

By only playing our wonderful reliable friends in the bubble cabinets with a "Carry On" theme by any chance?

Well they've kept me in good enough shape for 16 months now mr cashino!

Apparently i am socially and personally inadequate though, so i guess you have to take the rough with the smooth...

Unfortunately nobody is guaranteed to win anything as we all know, but with a bit of nouse and sensibility I have 4 days ( 6 if weekends are to be included) which in theory is £40 per day to break even. £100 of yesterdays loss was the other half throwing £ after £ in a PartyTime, so technically I'd only have to make £50 back.

With all due respect Cashino I'm far from being an 'overconfident self-delusional addict'. If that was my persona I would live in a world of bullshit and mask the fact I occassionally take a big hit, telling everyone that I constantly win megabucks and earn a massive wage. On a website like this you can be anyone you want to be, as we are just a name and an avatar and with that we mostly remain anonymous. As for being an addict, please, I limit myself to 6 days out gambling each month, just in case I lose and I only lose what I can afford. When you have a job, a mortgage, and a child, you have responsibilities and some things pale in significance. Playing machines is my only vice - I don't drink heavily, I don't do any drugs and I'm a non-smoker, therefore don't tar me with the same brush as the stereotypical gambling addict, I may not have the cheats/tricks/emptiers but I certainly am not a munter.

For anybody who is interested (not that there will be, well maybe Mr Chandler ), I have made £112 back in 2 days of play, plus £20 free drinks whilst out. £34 on Tuesday and £78 today. Highlights were;

Vortex £62 in > £88 out, inc a £70 top
Magic Money £4 in > £24 out
Hippy Hippy Snake £3 in > £25 out, flat HHS top
Open the Box £10 in > £45 out, inc last credit got on the board-OTB £35

Obviously I won on other machines and took a few hits, especially on DOND WoW for some reason, biggest disappointment was an Addams Family that f*cked me about and I just about scraped even and finding a nicely hidden away Pay Cheque only to find it auto payed out :x .

The moral of the post is - if you're not greedy money can be made back and is there for the winning if you look/try hard enough, that is why I'm not going to try and win the last few sheckles back until next week.
