Was in a pub last night. Played both fruitys & when i'd finished and sat down to finish me drink the barman walked upto both machines with a clip board and stuck his refill key in them an noted both readings!
Don't know if he was checking up on me or doing it for his own gains.

went to a pub last night where i usually hit both the m/c's in there they saw us drive into the car park. when we got in both m/c's had been switched off and the barman had a huge grin on his face. drove past later and both m/c's were on again :x :x
have to park up the road in future :P

Had this a couple of times too mate. Even had the bar staff refill both machines after I had come off them, didn't have enough coin bags to fill them both though!

I always park up the road/out of view from the windows out of habit, walked by many a window and seen the machines flashing away, walk in the door and there off

.
on the re-fill front, my local yates' fills up lots of times during the course of the day, there always full first thing and I have seen them doing this at 7 p.m on a friday nite. so basically you can't even get a decent reading if you leave it till later in the day

Had this back in the vivid days ... walk in through the door and landlord turned off machine before serving drink. (Was very quiet pub)
Waited till he was on holiday and it went for a full £100

Must have been ready to pop!!
Nowadays I try and vary days and times I play machines so as not to get to noticed.
