New Bullseye online game

Despite its omnipresence I've never really given this one much time owing to the obviously rigged nature of the end game. However if any of you are either fanatics or experts at the old Bully (the two are rarely the same  ), you might find this of interest:

http://bullseye.itv.com

They claim to offer a top prize of £5,000 and various other prizes.

A word of warning however - ITV did run a Millionaire online game based closely on the TV show (they may still do), but to win the monthly prize on that you had to play for virtually all your waking hours and at 50p a go I never thought the risk was worth it. You got around 2 million points for getting all the way to the end and answering the 'Million Pound Question' but the monthly top scores were equivalent of doing that about 2,000 - 4,000 times so it was basically a full time job and you always ran the risk of someone playing just a few more times than you on the last day of the month.

I did suspect that someone or some group had found a clever way to rig the Millionaire game, to get it to play for them in the background or perhaps to slow it down somehow - the top weekly scores for an individual game always seemed physically impossible. However this may of course have been simply paranoia on my part and it would therefore be no help for the new Bullseye game!

Let us know how you get on.

I have already had a go at the free demo game of this. I found that the "skill" part with the darts was impossible to do properly so I wrote it off as dead loss.

"Rhiannon was one of our winners on Bullseye in March. As one of the randomly slected winners who finished the game she won a cash prize. You only need to complete the game in order to be in with a chance of a great prize"

Just like the Slack Spanners version then............

I think quizard can't be very skillful. I tried this and thought it was great and quite easy. At least it was rigged like the other one.

Heh, had a dapple on this today - great fun!

Was watching the new edition of Bullseye last night on 'Challenge' TV. Not the same as the original of course, and it sorely misses Jim Bowen, but as Bully's Special Prize, they gave away a BFM 'Bully's Prize Board' AWP!!!

The guys won it, but then lost it on 'the big gamble' - probably better for them in the long run...

...Nothing like encouraging gambling is there? LOL

:)

Quite annoyed by this thread because I played it and thought it was great.
Am now addicted.
Currently 57th.
The top-score is outlandish.

I'm sitting 27th - was 23rd Grrr.

The key is to gamble 100% on the final round and do it in as few darts as possible. 3 darts gets you 3000 bonus points, 2 probably about 5/6000.

I did it in 2 darts. Unfortunately I messed up the round before so only came about 300th :o ops:

Absolutely. It's a long and sickening story.

If you play in Glasgow look out for me - it's my machine name too.

Good effort Vidmar!
The best I can do so far is 468th :o ops:

How do the spot prizes work? Haven't seen any yet.

I must say that it is bloody good how they have done it. Takes me back to when I was a kid doing my homework infront of the telly. Now Jim is talking to me! Unfortunately it takes ages to play each round, and I was busted whilst playing it at work :o ops:

That Bullys Prize Board was on Ebay about a week ago for £1200 (about right price). Collection only though.
