Is there any chance that this site can have a Private members section for the lste say more upto date people on the forum.

Say have a 10 question quiz on past and present tricks/emptiers were 7 out of 10 for example have to be answered correct or something like that.
Or a vote for those who are allowed in.?

Totally agree! i know im knew here but its plain obvoius who are local and have a lot more experience and knowledge! And should not be posting in full view of the world to see.

I probably wouldnt make it in myself at the moment but it would make life a lot easier and all worth while when and if you gain access to the "V.I.P" lounge!

It already does, my man! ;)

To be honest, there's not terribly much going on in there, but looking at recent events, it may well liven up if we introduce a 'select few' more people to it.

Will discuss... ;)

I agree, people like myself who work hard to work out things on machines, as well as talking to any players en route, and exchanging ideas on the road, rather than "This machine popped in my local, can I have emptiers, tricks please?", even then, as suggested in this post, the private forum is not too lively because I know for A FACT the players with the freshest info stay a MILLION MILES from the internet. It is well known that even if a RUMOUR is circulated on any forum, then vultures begin to circle in, and within days, the GAME IS UP!

Although, it would e nice to receive something fresh on a PRIVATE board!!

Catch 22.

I seem to be the only Mod about at the moment, but will try and chat with the others and see what can be done. There will be some sort of voting process to allow others in.

I agree, it is a good place to discuss 'more openly' current state of affairs regarding methods and emptiers (if they so exist!) but it also needs to be 'secure' in that any members do not 'leak' information to the public boards.

Will report back later... ;)

Best just to vote for people in tbh.
Is a good idea though, could be used to share the sensitive stuff.

Questions are lame and if people dont know they will just ask around etc.

Gambling.co.uk has a private section. Sod all happens in ther tho.

I knew about the board and have wondered about the criteria to be selected.

Maybe some kind of cash donation towards the site! a selection process thru either MOD/ADMIN! A vote between members! A short test what ever it may contain! A certan amount of posts per day! Long time member etc etc! Also maybe full info of were a player is from ie im from wirral can confirm by postcode or other means!

After all we can all PM or MSN e.mail etc any DELICATE info that should not be passed around even in the ""V.I.P" section

All must be arranged thru someone who knows what thier doing and looks after the site!

I personally would be happy with all the top!

Any other sugestions anyone agree/disagree!

trouble is you risk the death of the board except in the private area then. Perhaps an alternative solution is post scoring system, and you can set your viewing threshold accordingly, something like slashdot does.

And a private area for sharing info ? The same problems will still exist. Don't let an 'elite' club fool you. People have big mouths, especially after a few beers.

Anyone who is posting _anything_ sensitive _anywhere_ on a message board/private message is a fool. There is no privacy - you cannot be sure someone else will not read it who has access to the database.

There is a reason why people who have access to all the best information do not like to trust anything except a phone call and face-to-face meetings. It took about 5 years of knowing me on a friends level before my source would trust me.

I dont particulary agree with that for two reasons.

1) It will lead to people spamming in order to increase their posts per day ratio. Perhaps if it was done on the number of informative posts, so that you have demonstrated that you have a good amount of knowledge. This, when mixed and combined with some of the other sugguestions, i feel would be a better way to go.

2) If you have a low post per day ratio, does that make you any less knowledgeable than someone with a high post per day ratio? No, i have a low post per day ratio, but i like to think that i know a reasonable amount of stuff...

I agree.

I mean I've not been on here long, but the few posts I have made have been cream.

Pure cream I tell you! :)
