He means act like a wide-o, and vandalise the machine by removing a button, thus preventing anyone from using it .

As has been said many times before, vandalism is neither clever nor respectable.

There's no need for vandalism. There's enough money in machines to win legitimately at the mo without resorting to that sort of action. I've got 2 on a rolls near me that i'm certain have been tampered with as they both are a right bitch to get the 50p button working. Have to spend a good fewminutes each time loosening off the button then have patience as I then have to wait for the button to come back up. A proper player can win playing fully by the book just using pure knowledge and skill to outwit the machine.
