Well jackpot value wise I'd probably go for the £35 over the £25.

It's the extra £10 that kinda swings it for me.

Depends on the machine. They have differnet qualities

I'd say for the majority of machines, the hierachy would be (best to worst):

1. 50p / £25 - best ratio of stake to JP
2. 50p / £35 - best JP value
3. 30p / £25 - old standard stake jp
4. 25p / £25 - can be very tight, and are often on <78% payout

doesn't it just depend on the payout %?

It does depend on that, but not just on that. Imagine how long it'd take to win on a 5p play / £1000 JP machine, even if it was on +90%! ;)
