Any1 having problems with machines not accepting the new style notes?
Put £30 coins in a CADD then tried a new £20 note in and it set the alarm off! They gave me the £20 back out of the till but the m/c had to be switched off :x

You probably didnt put it in properly. There is a seperate section for notes, only coins go in the coin slot.

Hee hee.
On a serious note none of the machines round here take them yet, machine probably thought you were trying to scam it and set off alarm.

Yes, I've yet to find one that takes the new notes yet - I'm sure they'll soon roll out a new bit of 'software' that detects these new notes as valid legal tender.

Ive had the same problem mate. Am yet still to find a machine that takes them. Quite annoying though like you say when you have put quite a bit in and they switch it off.
