Angry Players!

Was out doing a small round in MK this morning before the footy, and i bumped into this right aggressive sod. Was in the sports bar there, and he came over just as we'd taken a third £25 from the 50p/£25 OAR there. Asked a few nice enough questions like where bouts you two from etc, saw you here last saturday. He sort of jokingly went i can't believe you rolled all of these (LAB next to it....£35 in for £50, drained campers, £10 from panther) before i got here. He scampers off and i think thats the end of it, bumped into about 7 different people there now, all of whom were fine.

Anyway, wandered into the bowling alley next door which now has a CCP there. Nice. Start ploughing that as it's going along nicely, and he turns up about 10 minutes later.

'Thought i told you two to get out of here lads?'

I was like erm....no you didn't, you just walked off in the sports bar.

'You taking the fuckin piss? I live here, i do these machines on a saturday, so don't you dare dream of coming here again. You don't even live here'

I didn't argue as he was a bit chavvy and would have probably started something. In the end he keyed the invincible next to it, swore some more, muttered something and buggered off. What a complete prat.....just shows how sad some people really are i guess :x

Had a similar incident in the bowling alley opposite my office, was skimming the value from a most daunting using setups. He approached with two other guys and gave me the old;

"who are you? where are you from? you better hope my mate doesn't see you...... Oh, where do you work?"

I smiled at him and said "here".

He turned around and left.

This aside, I find it's generally better to wear a shirt and tie. As I gamble for a couple of hours after work, I'm sure that it's helped. I reckon I’d have been banned from loads of places (do a lot of small pubs) otherwise.

Also, maybe just coincidence, but I've not seen as many of these chav types since the extreme age finished, when you could start with £10 float. Now it's all red's I think these types, due to their living styles find it hard to muster a sizable float.

There's so many sharks in that complex in MK, I don't usually bother with it these days whenever I'm up there.

It attracts a lot of punters there that's for sure. I find if i get there first thing saturday morning (9:30ish) then i beat everyone else to the machines. You usually get some good picks after the busy friday night which is nice 8) Seen so many punters there its unreal though, and a few decent machines have gone recently....will probs steer clear for a bit.
