Their fat backsides also act as a useful tool in aid of blocking the machine from prying eyes!

Or a nice cup of tea.

Also, if you feel knackered of morning, forget caffeine... have an apple... not quite sure why it works you up so well but it does.

It works because they're high in water soluble vitamins, anti-oxidants and quite acidic. This combination helps break down trans/sat. fats and neutralises peaks from high G.I foods. It's nature's way of giving you the right carbs, not nasty 'artificial' processed carbs.
The high water content and acidity cut through a modern high fat/high carb diet, so although it's not such an empirical BOOST as a glucose rush from Lucozade it's a great all round way to finish off any meal.
As a fruit machinist I need a lot of junk crap shit to help me emotionally nourish my unstable brain after a pounding on nasty machines. Also playing <<BLOOP>> all day long can scramble your brain, so an apple and a bottle of water really helps after a Big Mac and fries.

My blood test results are all normal. I get check ups for all my LFTs, kidney function tests, glucose, psa, thyroxine and cholesterol. I check my testicles for lumps on a monthly basis. Usually during a bath when they're floating about. I haven't had any big losses since that FOBT accident, so I had to post that bit about testicles to fill the gap.
